Embracing Hope

A Pastoral Ministry for the grieving dedicated to:

  • The sanctity and dignity of human life
  • Providing a place for remembrance and a place to speak sorrow
  • Honour life and name loss so hope and healing can be encountered

Vision:

Embracing Hope longs to see people no longer carry loss alone by providing welcoming spaces to remember, lament and encounter healing through the Hope in Christ.

Mission:

Embracing Hope upholds the sanctity and dignity of every human life by creating spaces where individuals and families affected by grief, loss, tragedy or crisis, are welcomed with Christ-centred compassion in embracing hope, proclaiming remembrance, and encountering healing.

Many people carry grief around the loss of life in silence.  They have no place to speak their sorrow; no place of remembrance.  They feel isolated and alone in their pain. Embracing Hope Life Centre welcomes each person to honour life and name loss in their journey to hope and healing.
About Embracing Hope:
Rooted in Anglican Tradition, Embracing Hope welcomes all who are carrying grief around the loss of human life.
